Northampton BBOB RFC has long been a cornerstone of local sport, inspiring generations through the camaraderie and challenge of rugby. But when Storm Bert devastated the club’s facilities, their future hung in the balance. Equipment was ruined, the grounds were left unusable, and the spirit of the club was tested.
“One of the biggest unforeseen challenges we’ve faced was having our club and all our equipment devastated,” they shared. “We had to rebuild from the ground up.”

Just a few years ago, Milton Football Club was barely hanging on. Outdated kits, rundown facilities, and mounting financial strain had dulled the club’s energy and made it difficult to attract players. “We were struggling. No new kits, old infrastructure, and frankly not that attractive to new members,” they recalled.
With sponsorship from A M Water Services, that changed. The club upgraded its facilities — including the main bar — and invested in smart new team kits. These upgrades helped revitalise the squad, attract new talent, and put them back on a competitive path.
They’ve since won their first trophy in years and are now targeting a top-three league finish. “Without this support, we may not even have a club left,” one representative said. “We’re building something to be proud of again.”

At Café Track in Northampton, every latte and cappuccino supports a larger mission: providing real work experience to autistic adults. Since 2019, the social enterprise has supported over 175 individuals and facilitated more than 200 work experience placements.
But not every opportunity is easily funded — especially for individuals who require additional support. Thanks to the backing of A M Water Services, Café Track has been able to extend opportunities to those who need it most. “Their funding and support means we can continue to create life-changing experiences,” said the team at Café Track.
